Membership Benefits
Members receive a quarterly newsletter keeping you informed on the organization’s activities and island events. Notice of special annual activities, such as: Shiver On The River, Belle Isle Clean Up, Theatre Parties, Holiday Bazaar and Annual Meeting. The opportunity to serve or work on special projects benefiting the park. Eligibility to run or serve on the Board of Directors or a standing committee of the organization. Knowledge that your dues and donations help us continue our struggle to maintain and preserve the island’s character and resources.

FOBI Meetings
The Board of Directors of FOBI meet at 6:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at their office: 8109 East Jefferson, northeast corner of Parker, one block east of Van Dyke. Entrance to the building is located on Parker. Parking is on the street or in a small lot behind the building.
